Jack Smith Just Named 20 People in the Epstein Files. Here’s Who They Are

Chairman Jordan, Ranking Member Raskin, members of the committee, thank you for the opportunity to discuss my work as special counsel, I love my country and believe deeply in the core principles upon which it was founded. For nearly three decades, I’ve served as a career prosecutor in both Republican and Democratic administrations. >> The 22nd of January, 2026, 10:00 a.m. Rayurn House office building. Those were the first words Jack Smith spoke when he sat down at the witness table before Congress. And with those words, the congressional hearing room went completely silent. Not the usual political theater silence. This was different. This was the kind of silence that comes when 2 million documents worth of buried secrets are about to surface. Jack Smith, former special counsel, career prosecutor, 30 years of taking down war criminals, organized crime bosses, and corrupt politicians. And now, for the first time in public, he was about to speak about the Jeffrey Epstein files. The files that the Justice Department promised to release, the files that never came, the files that protect some of the most powerful people on the planet. Before we go any further, you need to subscribe and turn on notifications right now because what Jack Smith said in that hearing room and what the Justice Department is desperately trying to hide is information that powerful people do not want you to see. Now, let’s stop here for a second. Pay attention to these words from Jack Smith. This man is not an ordinary prosecutor. 30 years, both Republican and Democratic administrations. He is not a partisan figure. Regardless of which party is in power, he has done his job. Someone who has taken on war crimes, gang violence, public corruption, and the darkest, most dangerous cases. He is much more equipped and knowledgeable than other prosecutors. And that is precisely why the revelations in the Epstein files are so important. Because this man has never hesitated to fight the powerful throughout his career. Whether it was war criminals, organized crime syndicates, or corrupt politicians, Smith was after them all. Now, with the same determination, he is going after the names behind the Epstein network, and they are terrified. I’ve handled cases ranging from domestic assault and gang violence to public corruption election crimes across the United States, and I’ve prosecuted war crimes overseas. Think about what that means. war crimes, not white collar crime, not financial fraud, war crimes, the kind of crimes that involve mass atrocities, the kind of crimes that most prosecutors will never touch in their entire careers. And Smith has been doing this for three decades. So when Jack Smith began to speak about the Epstein files, everyone in the congressional hall held their breath. This man, a career prosecutor who had handled America’s toughest cases for nearly 30 years, fighting in every field from war crimes to election fraud, was finally breaking his silence. And what he said was the kind of thing that would shake the Justice Department to its core. When Smith took the podium, there was weariness on his face, but determination was written all over his eyes. This wasn’t the look of a cornered man. This was the look of someone who stood behind what they said. The Epstein files have been captivating the public for months. two million documents released by the Justice Department. Well, that is what they promised. In reality, less than 1% of the total blacked out names protected powerful men. And now, Jack Smith was stepping forward to shed light on all this darkness. I am not a politician and I have no partisan loyalties. My career has been dedicated to serving our country by upholding the rule of law. I am not a politician. Note this sentence carefully. Because most of the discussions surrounding the Epstein files are political. Republicans blame Democrats. Democrats blame Republicans. Everyone is targeting the other side, but Smith is different. He’s outside the partisan games. His only loyalty is to the laws and the facts. Whoever was in Epstein’s network, whether Republican, Democrat, billionaire, or celebrity, it didn’t matter to Smith. If a crime was committed, there must be accountability. It is that simple. It is that clear. This stance has now become a philosophy for Smith. And that is exactly why the Justice Department is concerned. Smith is uncontrollable. He doesn’t bow to political pressure. And with the information he has and the evidence he obtained from the Epstein files, he can and will put very powerful people in a difficult position. Because he is that kind of man, he is a man who would give his life for justice to prevail. It is really difficult to find men like this these days. We should appreciate them and support them. Chairman Jim Jordan opened the hearing with what everyone expected, an attack. Mr. Smith, your investigation has been characterized by many as a partisan witch hunt. Can you explain to the American people why they should trust anything you have to say about these files? It was a setup. Jordan wanted Smith to defend himself, to look defensive, to seem political. But Smith didn’t take the bait. Throughout my public service, my approach has always been the same. Follow the facts and the law without fear or favor. Without fear or favor. Keep this phrase in mind. Why is there so little progress in the Epstein files? Why were only a fraction of 2 million documents released? Why are names being redacted? The answer is simple. Fear and favoritism. Some within the Justice Department are afraid. They are afraid of powerful names, political consequences, and the end of their careers. And some are favoring. They’re protecting certain people, certain interests. But Smith is outside of this equation. He neither fears nor favors. He’s been working like this for 30 years. He wasn’t afraid while pursuing war criminals. He showed no favoritism while dismantling organized crime syndicates. and now he is applying the same principle to the Epstein files as well. This is a nightmare scenario for some names at the Justice Department. Now, it is really important for you to like and share the video because this type of content is disturbing to the powerful and is often suppressed by the algorithm. Your support helps this information reach more people. Share your thoughts in the comments as well. Where do you think Smith’s statements will lead? Representative Jamie Raskin asked the question that everyone wanted answered. Mr. Smith, you’ve reviewed the Epstein files. You’ve seen the witness testimonies. You’ve examined the evidence. Can you tell us, are there powerful people being protected by the Justice Department’s refusal to release these documents? The room went silent. This was it. This was the moment Smith paused, not because he didn’t know the answer, but because he knew the weight of what he was about to say. Experienced prosecutors know that specific case outcomes are beyond our control. Our responsibility is to do the right thing the right way for the right reasons. These principles have guided me through my career, including as special counsel. Doing the right thing the right way for the right reasons. In the Epstein case, we saw the exact opposite for years. Remember the deal Alexander Aosta made in 2006 to 2008. Despite abusing hundreds of children, Epstein served only 13 months in prison and spent most of that time free during the day. Was this the right thing to do? Was it done the right way? For the right reasons, number that agreement was made to protect the powerful. The names behind Epstein, the politicians, businessmen, and celebrities who benefited from his network were protected. The victims were ignored. Smith is now trying to correct this mistake. He is doing what should have been done years ago, the right thing, the right way, for the right reasons, even if it is late. But then Smith said something that sent shock waves through the hearing room. What I can tell you is this. The Epstein files contain witness testimony naming specific individuals. detailed testimony, corroborated testimony, and those names include current and former heads of state, billionaires, entertainment industry executives, and members of foreign intelligence services. Let that sink in. Current and former heads of state, not politicians, heads of state, presidents, prime ministers, royalty, billionaires, not just rich people, billionaires, the kind of wealth that buys influence, protection, and silence entertainment industry executives. the people who control what America watches, what we believe, what we think is acceptable, foreign intelligence services. Meaning, this wasn’t just a sex trafficking operation. This was potentially a compromat operation, a blackmail network that could compromise national security. Republican representative Matt Gates interrupted. Mr. Smith, are you saying the Justice Department is actively covering up evidence that could implicate foreign intelligence operations on American soil? Smith’s answer was careful but devastating. As I testify before the committee today, I want to be clear. I stand by my decisions as special counsel. I stand by my decisions. This sentence is very important because the pressure on Smith is immense. Pressure is coming from all sides, from within the Justice Department, from political circles, from the media. He is being asked to back down, soften, and ignore certain things. But Smith is not backing down. He stands by his decisions. He stands behind every piece of information, every name, and every connection he revealed in the Epstein files. This is a big problem for the Justice Department because they can’t silence Smith. They can’t scare him. And now in front of Congress, in front of the cameras, with all of America watching, Smith is speaking. Representative Alexandria Okaciocortez asked the question that cut through all the political theater. Mr. Smith, how many children, how many victims are we talking about in these files? Smith’s face changed. For the first time in the hearing, you could see the weight he’d been carrying. More than 250 documented victims, children, some as young as 14 years old. And those are just the ones we know about, the ones who came forward, the ones who survived long enough to testify. More than 250 children. Let me say that again so it really sinks in. More than 250 children were sacrificed. Over 250 lives were ruined. And the perpetrators of this brutality are not just Epstein and Maxwell. The entire network remains largely unpunished. There are countless people whose names are mentioned but are never questioned and who are never held accountable for this brutality. Representative Raskin followed up. And who are these people that remain unpunished? Smith looked directly at the cameras, not at Rascin, at the cameras at America. No one should be above the law. No one should be above the law. Consider this sentence in the context of the Epstein files. Who are the people in those files? Former presidents, billionaires, Hollywood stars, princes, worldrenowned names. And so far, almost none of these names have been held accountable. Epstein is dead. Maxwell received a 20-year sentence. But what about the rest of the network? Free, protected within a shield of immunity. Smith objects to this. He says, “No one should be above the law, whether it is a former president, a billionaire, or a prince. If they’re involved in a crime, they must be held accountable.” This is a summary of Smith’s 30-year career. And now he is applying this principle to the Epstein files. But then came the moment that will be talked about for years. Representative Thomas Massie pulled out a thick folder FBI form 3002 documents. Witness interview summaries. Mr. Smith, I am holding FBI witness testimonies that name 20 specific individuals connected to Epstein’s operation. A Barlay CEO, a royal prince, a rock star, a magician, six billionaires, a Hollywood producer, an Italian car company owner. Messi looked directly at Smith. Have you personally reviewed these witness testimonies? Smith’s answer was immediate. Yes. I have personally reviewed every witness testimony related to the Epstein investigation that was made available to my office. And what did you find? Smith paused. Then he said the words that the Justice Department had been desperately trying to prevent. I found detailed, credible, corroborated testimony from multiple witnesses who independently named the same individuals, witnesses who never met each other, who described the same locations, the same time frames, the same criminal conduct. The room erupted. Reporters were typing frantically. Congressional staffers were rushing in and out. This was no longer political theater. This was evidence of a massive coverup being exposed in real time. And what did the Justice Department do with this credible corroborated testimony? Missi asked, Smith’s face hardened. Not enough. Not enough. But they said everything. The Justice Department had credible witness testimony, corroborating evidence, multiple sources, and they did. Not enough. Representative Jim Jordan tried to regain control. Mr. Smith, are you accusing the Justice Department of deliberately protecting criminals? Smith’s response was measured but clear. I am saying that FBI agents and prosecutors working on the Epstein investigation did their jobs. They gathered evidence. They interviewed witnesses. They documented crimes and then he paused. And then the investigation stopped moving forward in ways that the evidence demanded. Stopped moving forward in ways that the evidence demanded. Translation: someone higher up shut it down. Now, here’s what you need to understand. The FBI agents and prosecutors working on the Epstein investigation, these people are under threat. Some were removed from their positions. Some are facing pressure. Some people’s careers are in danger. Why? Because powerful people want to be protected. The politicians, businessmen, and media figures in Epstein’s network don’t want the investigation to deepen. And one way to prevent this is to target the investigator. Smith opposes this. He is defending these people. These are our best, he said, career agents and prosecutors who followed the evidence wherever it led. And they deserve our protection, not our persecution. Our best. and indirectly he is also saying if you harm these people if you try to silence them I will continue to speak. This is a direct challenge to some names at the justice department. The guy is really brave. He is not afraid of anyone against all kinds of injustice. We need brave men in our country and indeed around the world who speak such words without hesitation ensure justice is served and put their entire being and lives on the line for this. I really congratulate Smith on this. The guy knows his stuff and does it with justice. Then, Representative Cy Bush asked a question that brought it all home. Mr. Smith, what do you say to the families of the victims, the mothers and fathers whose children were abused by these monsters? What do you tell them about why justice hasn’t been served? For the first time in the hearing, Smith’s voice broke slightly. I tell them what I’ve told every victim’s family I’ve worked with in 30 years of prosecution. The rule of law is not self-executing. It depends on our collective commitment to apply it. I tend the rule of law is not self-executing. It depends on our collective commitment to apply it. It requires dedicated service on behalf of others, especially when that service is difficult and comes with costs. Our willingness to pay those costs is what tests and defines our commitment to the rule of law and to this wonderful country. The rule of law does not function on its own. It requires dedicated service on behalf of others, especially when that service is difficult and comes with cost. These words are not just a general principle. This is a summary of Smith’s approach to the Epstein files. Even if it is difficult, even if it costs him, he’ll do the right thing. So, what happens now? This is critical. Pay attention. First, Smith’s congressional statement was entered into the official record. What he said is now documented. It is very difficult for him to back down. Secondly, pressure is mounting for the full release of the Epstein files. The Epstein Files Transparency Act required release by the 19th of December 2025. The Justice Department missed that deadline and now Smith has testified under oath that credible witness testimony exists. That means Congress can subpoena those specific documents. Thirdly, Gizlane Maxwell’s congressional testimony is being discussed. Maxwell was Epstein’s closest associate. She saw everything. She knows everything. and Smith’s statements could be laying the groundwork for Maxwell’s testimony. Fourth, tensions within the Justice Department are increasing. On one side are principled prosecutors like Smith. On the other are bureaucrats who want to close the files. This tension will explode at some point. But here is what is most important, and this is why you need to share this video right now. Smith revealed that 20 specific names exist in FBI witness testimonies. names that have been corroborated by multiple independent witnesses. That means the Justice Department can’t claim insufficient evidence. They have evidence, multiple witnesses, corroboration. So why haven’t these 20 people been investigated? The only answer is protection, political protection, wealth protection, power protection. And Jack Smith just exposed that protection on the congressional record. Like this video. Share it. Comment below because the algorithm will try to suppress this information. The powerful people named the Epstein files don’t want you to see this. They don’t want you to know that credible witness testimony exists against them. Your engagement is what gets this information to more people. Jack Smith is not a politician, not partisan, not affiliated with Republican or Democratic administrations. He is just a prosecutor. A prosecutor who has been doing the same job and following the same principles for 30 years to pursue the truth without fear or favor. That is his motto. And now this motto is being applied to the Epstein file. Smith is not afraid. He is not showing favoritism. He is not afraid to go after powerful names. More than 250 children were sacrificed. These victims are waiting for justice. The families are waiting for an answer. And Jack Smith is working to ensure this justice is served. The Justice Department might be concerned. Powerful names can be concerning, but Smith doesn’t stop. He is talking, and every conversation sheds a little more light on the truths hidden in the darkness. Smith’s last words in Congress are ringing in my ears. The rule of law does not function on its own. It requires dedicated service on behalf of others, especially when that service is difficult and comes with costs. These words are not just a general principle. This is a summary of Smith’s approach to the Epstein files. Even if it is difficult, even if it costs him, he’ll do the right thing. And perhaps this struggle will bear fruit in the end. Perhaps those 2 million documents will one day be fully declassified. Perhaps blacked out names will emerge. Perhaps more than 250 victims will finally see justice. Smith became a symbol of this hope. He broke his silence and now we await the response from the Justice Department. If you want to follow this event, subscribe and turn on notifications. Smith’s statements, Maxwell’s potential testimony. Every development in the Epstein files, it will all be here. Check out the suggested videos on the screen. Both are of immense importance in learning and understanding why Smith is so important and the true nature of the Epstein case in general. Because this isn’t over. This is just beginning. 20 names, 250 victims, 2 million documents, and one prosecutor who refuses to be silenced. That is the story of the 22nd of January, 2026. The day Jack Smith broke his silence on the Epstein files and the day the coverup started to
